Guides

By plugin, in the order you'll need them.

TOP TRANSLATE

Install and activate 2 min
  1. Download TOP TRANSLATE from the Download page: a .zip file, no account needed.
  2. In WordPress, open Plugins › Add New Plugin › Upload Plugin, choose the file, then “Activate”. Activation sends nothing and translates nothing.
  3. The setup wizard opens. Tick your customers' languages: the plugin reads your site in your own database, and shows you your plan and your price.
  4. See your homepage translated into the language of your choice, before any payment. Only you can see this preview, and there's only one per site.
  5. Click “Continue on redorzo.com”. A single page: your account, your billing, your payment and the terms and conditions of sale.
  6. When you come back, your site links itself: no key to copy. Translation runs in the background, language by language; you can close the page, nothing stops.

Your site needs a domain name: a site reached through an IP address can't be linked.

Choose your languages and your plan 2 min

The plan comes from the size of your site: the plugin counts the characters in your content, in its own language, once. It doesn't depend on your traffic.

  • One language is included in the plan. Each extra language adds the same amount per month, whatever the plan and however many languages you have.
  • Under each language, the plugin shows what it adds, and the total, before any payment. The full price grid is on the Pricing page.
  • Beyond the largest plan, we set a custom price: write to us.
  • If your site grows, the plugin suggests the right plan, and nothing changes without your agreement: up to 1.3 times the size of your plan, nothing is blocked; beyond that, what's already translated stays online, and your new sentences wait for your plan to catch up.

To change: in your customer area, on the site's page, “Change plan or languages”. The new total is shown before you confirm. A plan upgrade and an added language apply right away; a plan downgrade and a removed language take effect at the end of the month you've already paid for.

Correct a translated sentence 2 min

Your site's administrators and editors correct translations; settings stay with administrators.

  1. In WordPress, Translations tab: open a page, or “Menu, footer and buttons”, choose the language and write your version. Each text is saved as soon as you move on to the next.
  2. Or on your site, while logged in: turn on “Correct with TOP TRANSLATE” in the WordPress toolbar, at the top of the page, then click the sentence. Only you and your editors see this bar; you add it from the Account tab.

A corrected sentence is kept exactly as it is: TOP TRANSLATE will never re-translate it. Edit it once, and it changes everywhere it appears on your site. Keep markers like [1] and [/1] around the same words: they carry its links and its bold.

A name or trade term that must always be written the same way: add it to the Glossary, in the Translations tab, with “Always translate as” or “Never translate”. Only the sentences that contain it are re-translated, and your corrected sentences never change.

Translated URLs and Google 2 min

Each published language has its own version of your site, at its own URL: /en/, /nl/… Pages are rendered by your server: that's what Google reads and indexes.

  • Every page gets a URL in every language. SEO tab › Addresses: you review and edit them. A published URL never changes on its own; if you edit it, the old one leads to the new one.
  • Titles and descriptions: for each page and each language, the blue line and the grey lines of a Google result, with their live preview.
  • A page is announced to Google in a published language once it's complete in that language: its language tags and that language's sitemap. A language in preparation is seen neither by your visitors nor by Google.
  • Every morning, your public pages are read from the outside, the way Google reads them: the SEO tab tells you what it finds.

Translated URLs require readable URLs (Settings › Permalinks). They can be turned off in the Account tab: your pages then keep their original URL, under /en/.

Add or remove a language 2 min
  1. Languages tab, “Add a language”. It arrives in preparation: you and your editors can see it, but neither your visitors nor Google can.
  2. Under the language, the plugin shows what it adds to your plan. A language your subscription doesn't include yet isn't translated: “Add to my subscription”, or, in your customer area, “Change plan or languages”. The new total is shown before you confirm.
  3. “Publish”: it joins your visitors' language switcher, and its pages are announced to Google one by one, as soon as they're complete.

“Put back in preparation”: the language leaves the switcher, its pages are no longer announced, and its sitemap disappears. “Remove”: it disappears from your site and from the console. Either way, your translations are kept: if you publish it or add it again, they come back.

Removing a language from your subscription takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for.

What if I stop? 1 min

You cancel online, at any time, from your customer area: the site's page, “Cancel subscription”. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for.

  • After that, translated pages are no longer served: each translated URL leads to its original page, and search engines only see your site's own language.
  • Your translations stay saved, sealed in your site: they can't be read without a subscription. If you resubscribe within twelve months, they come back without being re-translated.

A declined payment doesn't stop anything right away: your translated pages stay online, but nothing new is translated. If the payment isn't settled, the service stops three days after the end of the paid period. To resume, use “Resume my subscription”, in the plugin's Account tab.

TOP CALENDAR

Choose your business and its vocabulary 1 min

The first time it opens, the welcome screen asks “What do you take bookings for?” Eight cards: Outing & activity, Appointment, Rental, Stay, Class, Workshop & event, Table, and Other / I will see.

  • Your choice changes the words on your screens, your default settings and your email templates; the calendar itself stays the same. A stay is booked by the night, a rental is counted in items, a table in covers.
  • The welcome screen then asks for your opening days and hours, then your first activity: its name, its duration and its places.
  • A public “Bookings” page is created with the form. The TOP CALENDAR block, or the shortcode [top_calendar], puts it on another page.

Everything can be changed later in Settings. Until the welcome screen is finished, the “Finish setup” notice brings you back to it.

Open a season and its exceptions 1 min
  1. Each activity opens on its days, its hours and its season, in the “When?” panel of its form. For a specific period, use “Exact dates…”, from the first day to the last.
  2. A public holiday, time off, a single morning: add a closure in the Planning, for one day or a period. Both days are included; without times, they're full days.
  3. Before closing, the screen shows the bookings that fall within it. Those already made don't move.

A closure always wins, even over an exceptional opening added after it: when two rules contradict each other, the one that doesn't sell wins. It's removed as easily as it's added, and the public page follows on its own: nothing to republish.

At the end of the season, “Prepare the next season” carries its dates over to one year later, in a single step; prices, staff and options stay.

Take a booking over the phone 1 min
  1. At the top of any console screen, click “New booking”.
  2. Choose the activity, then “Show the dates for this one”: each date shows its remaining places.
  3. Enter how many people, then the first name, last name, email and phone number.
  4. “Take payment here”, or, with Plus, “Send the payment link” so the customer pays online.

If the booking is refused, everything you typed stays in the form, with the reason to pass on to the customer. The same place is never sold twice: every booking is checked on your server, even when two customers click at the same moment.

Get paid at booking 1 min

With the Free edition, your customers see the price and pay on site: at the counter, you record cash, card terminal, cheque or bank transfer, as a deposit or in full.

With Plus, they pay when they book:

  1. Open Settings › Payments. Connect card payments through Stripe, or turn on “Through WooCommerce” to take payment at your shop's checkout.
  2. In “What is asked at booking”, choose “Nothing”, “A deposit” or “Everything”.
  3. Start in test mode: the top card says “You take payments in test mode”, then “You take payments live” with your real keys.

A booking switches to “Paid” once the payment is confirmed. An unpaid balance shows “Send the link” on the Today screen. The “VAT and invoice” card attaches a numbered PDF invoice to the receipt, generated on your site.

Upgrade from Free to Plus 2 min

Plus adds online payment, seasonal and duration-based rates, paid options and discount codes, equipment (named units, stock, maintenance), reports and an automatic reminder before each booking.

  • The Plus edition can be tried for 14 days, in full, with no credit card, with a REDORZO account: enter your site in your customer area, download Plus and install it; the trial starts when you activate it. On the 15th day, nothing locks up: you go back to the Free edition, and your data stays as it is.
  • To keep it: in WordPress, TOP CALENDAR › My account, “TOP CALENDAR Plus” card. You pay on redorzo.com, come back to your site, install the Plus plugin, and it unlocks on its own: no key to copy.
  • Plus installs alongside TOP CALENDAR. Removing it erases nothing: bookings, customers, prices and settings stay with TOP CALENDAR.

Plus is an annual subscription: we write to you before it renews, and it can be cancelled from your customer area. Its price is on the Pricing page.

Your customers' data 2 min

Your customers' data stays on your site, in your WordPress database: the Free edition sends nothing to an outside service on its own initiative. If you subscribe your calendar app to your private link, it's the app that comes to read your departures: first names and number of places, or the number of places alone if you choose. Plus adds what you connect yourself: online payment.

  • Your customers manage their booking through a private link, received by email: no account, no password.
  • Tools › Export Personal Data and Tools › Erase Personal Data, in WordPress, cover TOP CALENDAR.
  • Erasing doesn't delete bookings: what identifies the person goes, while the date, amount and status stay, because a paid booking is an accounting record. The report says what was kept.

If you delete the plugin, bookings, customers and settings are kept; to erase everything, tick the option in the settings before deleting it.

Questions

The most asked.

Do I need an account to try them?

No. The plugins download without an account. The account comes when you activate a paid edition: it keeps your sites, subscriptions and invoices in one place.

How do payment and invoices work?

By credit card or bank transfer. Every payment comes with an invoice, which you'll find in your customer area. Monthly subscriptions have no commitment: each month, the invoice is filed in your customer area, without an email, and we only write to you if a payment fails.

What if my site grows?

With TOP TRANSLATE, the plugin suggests the matching plan. Nothing changes without your agreement: up to 1.3 times the size of your plan, nothing is blocked; beyond that, your new sentences wait until you've made your choice.

What if I stop?

Each plugin says so on its page. TOP TRANSLATE: translated pages are no longer served, and your translations stay saved, sealed in your site. TOP CALENDAR: you go back to the Free edition, and nothing is deleted.
